PUTRAJAYA - Firdaus Fadzil, nyata amat teruja sekali bila kereta Uber yang ditempahnya dipandu oleh bekas Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Tan Sri Abd Wahid Omar.
"Uber my way to office by probably one of the most successful corporate and economic maestros with his new Proton Perdana. 5 Star rating for YB Senator Dato Seri!" katanya dalam caption gambar berkenaan.
Menurut Firdaus, dia pada awal tidak menyedari siapa pemandu Uber berkenaan.
"When arriving at the lobby, he pulled down the window and called my name. I didn't looked at the plate number and I thought 'Wow! Dia ingat nama aku?
"Saya tak perasan dia sebenarnya. So, on the phone to provide my exact location, I addressed him as 'Abang'. LOL!
"The experience cost me RM30 only. Very happy Uber customer," katanya.
Menurut rakannya Norizan Sharif, Wahid Omar berjaya mendapat 8 penumpang semalam.
"Saya cuba memahami denyut nadi rakyat," katanya yang berasal dari keluarga susah.
Difahamkan, Wahid menjadi pemandu Uber selama tiga hari sebelum menunaikan umrah di tanah suci. -
